Top Three Zulu Trade Signal Providers

November 24, 2009

Please be advised, I made this post years ago and the information understandably has become outdated, so you need to do your own researching on the current best signal providers to follow on ZULUTRADE.

The “BEST” ZuluTrade Signal Provider Is Subjective, differing from trader to trader.
Right now I’m using FLY ON THE WALL and a few others. (Last Update March 2, 2011)

Inevitably deepening on how you control the signal providers via your own settings could make them better or worse, meaning you don’t have to follow the shown stats literally; alternatively you could just trade with them near pip for pip based on their entries and exits and follow the stats literally.  This is all up to you making ZuluTrade a highly customizable and controllable place for those who can manage it best; some will not and lose money, this blog can not control if you are or are not one of the one’s who becomes a winner or loser on Zulutrade.  What we do try to do is find signal providers that are less likely to lose all of us money, myself included, so I’m with you traders too!
Today I took the time to find the most profitable ZuluTrade.com signal providers and list them here for you to follow yourself. We’ve been discussing up a storm over this on a few forums, in particular what makes these signal providers good, bad, profitable, or just a waste of time. There are close to 2000 individual signal providers with different strategies and trading styles available on ZuluTrade.com right now. Very few of them are profitable and even fewer are profitable enough to not get you into account ending trades.

This graph explained
Provider Name: What the Zulu Signal Provider Calls him/herself.
Pips Earned: Calculated over the last 12 Months, how much this Signal Provider has earned with pips lost subtracted. So this is the absolute value of pips gained and lost. Generally a signal provider should have a few thousand pips gained and NOT hundreds of thousands of pips gained, this is an indication of a scam.
Money Earned: How much this account has earned for its followers in the last 12 Months based on 1 Lot Trades.
Max Drawdown: Very important figure, the amount of negative pips the open trades of a Signal Providers has at any given moment. Generally, a nice drawdown figure of 100 or less is key, this proves that the system has some sort of stop loss in place and will not wipe your account out.
ROI: Return on Investment, in percentage.
Winning %: Is the percentage of trades over the last 12 Months this signal provider has won. I think a winning percentage of 80% or more is key, but so long as their wins outweigh their losses, this is not as important as avg pips per trade.
Followers: Perhaps the most telling figure available about Zulu Signal providers, how many other people are following this signal provider at the moment. This does not prove that this signal provider is going to make you money, but, there is safety in numbers and for some reason or another they are followed by a mass amount of traders.

As always, I would not recommend anything to you, my readers without trying it myself. That is why I am putting up $1000 of my own capital on trying these three signal providers on my own. I will give you updates on my progress but I invite you to come join me in following these signals today.

zulu1 The “Best” ZuluTrade.com Signal Providers

Past performance is not indicative of future results, especially on ZuluTrade, just a warning that the “best” today could be very bad tomorrow, aside from my definition of “best” and “worst” will obviously differ from yours.  These opinions are meant for educational purposes only.

I myself use the Surfing signal provider on Zulu trader and I have nothing but good things to report to you. Whoever he or she is never gets us into crappy trades that go down more than 50 pips, and I am experiencing a growth of over 1000 pips in my account just a few weeks, trading mini lots I’m up over $2000! Trading on Zulu has seriously become my favorite way to trade Forex, and I plan on increasing my lot position with Surfing any day now.

So Long Live Surfing! And Long Live Zulu Trade!

Is this really the Best Zulu Signals available? Doesn’t seem that profitable. But Perhaps I guess a more modest approach is wiser when trading on ZuluTrade because greed is an account killer.

I do not agree that there is safety in numbers when choosing a signal
provider. I have been using Lowest DD for a few months now, and he has a huge following.
Problem is, that I have been stopped out of 5 trades in the past week using his
recommended stop loss of 80 pips.He hasn’t come close to making this up in wins. I see in his performance page that he only shows one
loss during this period, and that is for 500 pips! He simply keeps a lot of his trades open.
I think he is scamming a lot of people, and i do not think you can make money with this guy.

If you are trying to trade off some complicated, indicator-based method or a software program you are probably very likely to get confused and frustrated because you have no idea why your system is telling you to do what it is. You need to fully understand your trading method and make sure that it is not the cause of all your trading problems.

Zulutrader might not be the best place for beginners although they are coming out with new features to make life easier.

In my opinion , a vey important factor is how many people follow a certain signal provider. If there was a flash in the pan type provider, good one minute bad the next he’ll have a spike in followership and then a drop off.

The best signal providers on Zulutrade probably have increasing or plateaued amount of followers but not a declining amount, that would be a good graph for Zulutrade to add to stat pages.

Got something to say?
