FED CUTS INTEREST RATE TO %.25
December 17, 2008
The US dollar fell to a 2 month low versus the Euro after the Federal Reserve’s cut interest rates by 75base points to 0.25%. This latest cut makes the American Dollar the lowest yielding currency amongst the major currencies and could possibly touch of more selling.
The Fed also announced it’s commitment to continue buying Mortgage backed securities and long term treasuries. The USD came under severe pressure after the announcement while stocks rallied. Most importantly, at .25 percent, most big traders and others looking to buy the currency may not find the yield high enough to justify the risk. This latest move downward for the dollar may be a correction resuming after the past few months of incredible dollar strength despire the ecomonimc doomsday scenario playing out in the United States and the markets around the world.
The EURO broke above 1.4190 as the FED cuts interest rates more than predicted.

Forex Bastards
October 4, 2007
I’ve recently stumbled upon the website known as ForexBastards.com, a neatly laid out webspace dedicated to letting users rate and review Forex Programs, Forex Indicators, Forex Brokers, and pretty much anything related to Forex you can think of. According to Forex Bastards, the most popular and the highest rated Forex Indicator services are ForexDiamdonds.com, Secret Forex Society, Secret News Weapon. Whether he makes no secret of it or not, its quite obvious there is the same person behind all of these sites including this site Forex Bastards which is rating them so high.
Now, based soley on the numerous reviews that were given to Forex Diamonds on Forex Bastards, I was moments away from ordering this service for $300 a month. Besides, with what the reviews said and the program touts, I’d be making killer deals all the time which would easily cover the $299/month membership fee to his special chat room.
Forex Diamonds is definitely unique from any Forex Indicator service I’ve tried to sign up for and I immediately thought SCAM, rightfully so or not. Here’s why. If you have a service that is invaluable to people and is $300, why are you forcing people to join a waiting list to get in? Anybody who is truly interested in sharing information with you that could make him a fortune if he gets 5 or more sales every day would just sell it, why the waiting list garbage? It’s not like its a free service that is taking up so much resources you NEED to have a waiting list, this is by choice, most likely to make a user wait and wait while receiving free sample emails from the company and related companies, all the while he watches the market go this way and that, wishing he were a member of Forex Diamonds. Almost on every page there’s a disclaimer about the waiting list and if you don’t get in today, try again tomorrow, etc. I said to myself, watch, I’ll get an email for a few days saying its full, then a few days later it there will be a spot open, and I will feel so lucky I just HAVE to join ASAP.
Trust me, I went through all of these emotions, Felix’s little waiting list technique almost worked on me except he didn’t count on me (and you either) doing a little research on his review site and all his sites that accompany them. In fact, if you take away the hundreds of positive comments about the programs on his site, you are left with absolutely no positive comments elsewhere on the internet, I’m talking about a dozen some odd sites with twice as many reviews. Maybe these negative comments are coming from competitors or people who are “out to get” Felix, but why would they be out to get him regardless?
I don’t know, like I said, you need to be the judge on this one, I’m sure his indicators provide us with accurate information, but are they worth hundreds of dollars a month and do they work?
Inevitably, I can’t say its a scam until I spend the $300+ to try the system out. They say there’s a money back guarantee, but who knows. So, it seems, that through advertising and reviewing your own programs positively 100′s of times could drive at least 1 person to each program every day which could equal 100 pips for them. I just don’t know though… very popular programs that I trust laud that they are lauded or reviewed highly on Forex Bastards, so that’s a plus. I’m giving them a VERY USEFUL rating, because if you cut through all the malarkey, the signals they provide can help any trader, but don’t look to anyone at Forex Bastards to predict the future, at least not for free. As with most things in this Forex business, it’s just too hard to tell other people’s sincerity.
